Hello FunOrbers!
For those of you who cannot run Java, or if your computer is being a noob, there is the client - which doesn't use Java!

#1 --- POST 1 = WINDOWS
#2 --- POST 3 = MAC
This is how you set it up;

Firstly, go to the runescape homepage and hover over 'game info', then click on 'downloads'.
Download and install the RuneScape client.
When it's fully downloaded and installed, go to...
%userprofile%\jagexcache\jagexlauncher\

Here you will need to 'copy' the RuneScape folder.
Paste it in the same location and re-name it to 'dungeonassault', or whatever game you are trying to fix. It works for any FunOrb game.

Go into the folder you just renamed -
Then, rename the runescape.prm file to whatever game you are trying to fix - eg, dungeonassault.prm

Right click the prm file and open it with notepad, or notepad ++, or any similar editing program.

When the file opens, copy and paste this;
===========================

-Djava.class.path=jagexappletviewer.jar
-Dsun.java2d.noddraw=true
-Dcom.jagex.config=http://dungeon1.funorb.c_om/a=135/g=dungeonassault/c=*SUTLV2GLUY/jav_config.w_s
-Xmx384m
-Xss2m
-XX:CompileThreshold=1500

-Xinc_gc
-XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC
-XX:+UseParNewGC
jagexappletviewer

==========================
EDIT OUT ALL UNDERSCORES FROM THE ABOVE, ASIDE FROM jav_config

Say if you wanted arcanists,
-Dcom.jagex.config=http://arcanists14.funorb.c_om/a=135/g=arcanists_multi/jav_config.w_s

#####################

The rule of thumb is, to grab your url, like so...

http://dungeon1.funorb.c_om/a=135/g=dungeonassault/c=*SUTLV2GLUY/game.w_s?js=1

chop off the /game.w_s bit, and replace it with /jav_config.w_s
(NOTE, ABOVE EDITING NOTICE STILL APPLIES.)

Find the shortcut for the RuneScape client, and copy and paste it. Right click the new copy and go to 'properties' - 'shortcut' - and change the end from
\bin\JagexLauncher.exe runescape

to...
\bin\JagexLauncher.exe gameyouwant - eg \bin\JagexLauncher.exe dungeonassault

When you've done this, apply the changes, hit OK, and then run it using the shortcut you created. You can now rename it too.

You've got a funorb game client that isn't reliant on Java, nor browser support! Yaaaay!

BELOW VERSION IS FOR MAC USERS;
---- YOU WILL NEED JAVA VERSION 8 FOR THIS TO FUNCTION DUE TO RECENT UPDATES ----
(which requires OS X 10.8.3 Mountain Lion or later)

In Finder click on Applications.

Right click on the RuneScape icon.

Select *Show Package Contents’.

Double click on the folder *Contents’.

Double click on the file Info.plist

In the Info.plist file look for the line

<string>-DCOM.jagex.config=http://***.runescape.***/jav_config******;/string>

and change it to say

<string>-DCOM.jagex.config=http://dungeon1.funorb.c***/a=135/g=dungeonassault/c=*SUTLV2GLUY/jav_config.w_s</string>

EDIT OUT ALL UNDERSCORES FROM THE ABOVE, ASIDE FROM jav_config

Say if you wanted arcanists

<string>-DCOM.jagex.config=http://arcanists14.funorb.c***/a=135/g=arcanists_multi/jav_config.w_s</string>

Save the file.
Open the downloadable client.

http://dungeon1.funorb.c***/a=135/g=dungeonassault/c=*SUTLV2GLUY/game.w_s?js=1

So I did everything you said about creating the other file and I put in the arcanist URL, now what? I do not know how to run the client for fun orb.

Hey MrSandyClaws,
You need to create a shortcut (Instructions on how to do this are above, but I'll put them in this post too)

Yaaaay!

-----------------------------

In your specific case, you need to change
\bin\JagexLauncher.exe runescape

to

\bin\JagexLauncher.exe arcanists

:)

Save/apply, make sure the prm is saved, and then run the shortcut, and you'll have your own funorb client.

Ok so I've followed this exactly and I receive the error message:

"There was an error loading the game configuration from the website. If you have a firewall, check that this program is allowed to access the Internet."

I have tried temporarily disabling the firewall, however this doesn't make a difference.

Any ideas?

Nevermind got it to work! :)

When I attempt to open the shortcut for arcanists i get a message saying "Unable to load parameter file. please reinstall the program."

I've deleted the runescape downloaded file and reinstalled and did this process twice so Is there something I maybe am missing. Also i have tried to add multiple versions of the arcanists game page to the java configurator but this doesnt seem to change anything.

(update):i currently realized i didnt remove the underscores when changing the code in notepad. I will update again if Removing them fixes the issue. :|
