What is this thread? The Gauntlet is the single-player aspect of the Jagex Summer Games. For three weeks, you have to try and get as high a score as you can in 9 different single-player games (3 games each week). On this thread, you'll be able to check the scores, the top 30 for each week in each game, and find out all you need to know about the event. How do I take part?/How does the event work? There's no sign-up for this event. Everybody on the high scores will automatically be included. Each week, you'll have from Monday-Sunday to get as high a score in whatever the chosen games are for that week. The top 30 will be awarded points depending on their position on the high scores table (ranging from 30 for 1st place to 1 for 30th place). At the end of the 3 week period, the points will be added up and we'll declare the winner. What are the prizes? The overall winner will win lifetime Membership for FunOrb and RuneScape, a bag full of Jagex, FunOrb and RuneScape merchandise. The second prized player will win 3 years Membership for FunOrb and RuneScape. The third prized player will win 1 years Membership for FunOrb and RuneScape. On top of this, for each game we will be putting anyone in the top 30 into a prize draw to try and win a month's dual membership for FunOrb and RuneScape. So even if you don't think you're doing so well, you're still in with a chance! All prize draws will be drawn at the end of the competition. I want to discuss this event, but the thread is locked! So if you scored 1st in all 9 games, your score would be 270. What if somebody cheats? Report them on the "Report Cheating Here" sticky. We'll be keeping a close eye on that thread and will disqualify anybody found to be cheating. We'll also skip whatever their high score position was when working out points. For example, if a cheater was 1st for Ace of Skies and you were 2nd, you'd be awarded 30 points for finishing 1st. |
